Vera is a Housing Navigator at the Homeless Action Center. She moved to the Bay from Los Angeles at age 18 and has many years of local experience in community organizing, free public art, and direct solidarity services. She lives in East Oakland with two kids and two cats, loves creative works of radical leftist imagination (Nghi Vo, Star Trek, Butler & Le Guin), and wants to know your favorite taco spot.
