Tiana is a Program Aide at Almost Home. She joined HAC in 2022. Tiana’s role is to support program engagement, building healthy relationships with clients, completing daily rounds to support safe environments, providing daily check-in to support healthy insight, and engaging clients in staying compliant with housing readiness, as well as encouraging participants to stay connected to program and informing staff, when possible, of life changes. Tiana was a preschool teacher for 16 years. She started working with dual diagnosis at Progress Foundation with women and children who had open CPS cases. Tiana also worked for Berkely Food and Housing Project, Baker Places, Building Opportunities for Self-Sufficiency, Bay Area Community Services, Homeless Prenatal Program, and Westcoast Children’s Clinic. She has been in the Mental health field for over 18 years now. Some of Tiana’s hobbies are baking cakes, shopping, and taking long drives in Big Momma (aka her car).
