Kristina is a Staff Attorney at the Homeless Action Center. She joined the organization in 2023. Her past work experience includes: providing full representation to clients under the Ryan White Act (serving solely LGBTQIA+ who have HIV/AIDS); providing representation to children under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act; lobbying efforts at the state and national level to secure labor protections for farmworkers; full representation to multiple farmworker plaintiffs against multiple defendants in federal court actions, including: case development and investigation; research; writing complaints, production requests, interrogatories, and motions; negotiating settlements; developing discovery plans, and taking dispositions. She has assisted low-income families and individuals by providing advocacy, community outreach, and representation in the following areas: public benefits; landlord-tenant law; social security disability; domestic violence, wills, advance directives, and health insurance. In 2017, she spearheaded and fully developed a housing project for the Guatemalan Maya Center designed to address the rights of low-income, primarily undocumented tenants in Palm Beach County, Florida.
