Joe joined HAC as a Staff Attorney in 2017 and began working as the Benefits Outreach Attorney in 2021. He works with other homeless service providers to assist folks in Berkeley with applying for public benefits and troubleshooting problems they encounter to ensure they are receiving benefits. Joe previously worked as a goat farmer, buffalo rancher, and environmental educator. He loves biking, baking, and birds.
