Imran is a Staff Attorney at HAC. He joined the organization in 2021 after working as an Appellate Public Defender in Chicago, Il. Before law school, Imran advocated for changes to Oregon laws that allowed youth to be placed in the adult criminal justice system. He also worked at the Center on the Wrongful Conviction of Youth while in law school. In his free time, Imran enjoys hiking around the Bay Area with his partner and their dog.
