Angelo is a Staff Attorney at HAC. Angelo served in the office of California State Senator Ducheny, where he advised the senator on higher education, California-Mexico relations, and Native American Affairs. Angelo served Ninth Circuit District Court Chief Judge Hamilton where he advised the judge regarding evidentiary hearings, drug court proceedings, and Pro Se motions from incarcerated individuals applying for resentencing. He served at the Greenlining Institute where he advocated against barriers to employment for communities of color. Angelo most recently served at the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights where he led a campaign to end the criminalization of unsheltered people. Angelo has a daughter named Josephine and a son named Kai. He is also a big space nerd.
