Staff Attorney Dre is a Bay Area native, a licensed private investigator, a former mitigation expert in capital cases, and a mom. Her compassionate persistence digging up facts has helped secure freedom for innocent people sentenced to life for crimes they didn’t commit. Advocating for HAC clients as they tell their stories in the face of intentionally obtuse systemic obstacles is Dre’s passion, but she also pulls through with a decent baseline jump shot. You can find Dre in the Berkeley loft tending to the emotional needs of the office cats.
