Amy is a Senior Managing Attorney at HAC in Berkeley, where she manages an incredible team of attorneys and advocates. In addition to her work at HAC, Amy is a volunteer arbitrator for homeless shelter grievance hearings with the San Francisco Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing. Previously she ran the HIV/AIDS Insurance Protection Project at the AIDS Legal Referral Panel in San Francisco, assisting clients living with HIV/AIDS who had issues related to public benefits, private health insurance, and long-term disability insurance. Prior to her nonprofit legal career, Amy worked at a fabric store, as a cook at a yoga retreat center, and as a baker at a worker-owned coop bakery. Her main hobby is designing and sewing her own clothes.
