Rithu is a benefits advocate at the Homeless Action Center, combining her love for direct client services with her passion for increasing access to justice. Before coming to HAC, Rithu earned her J.D. from the George Washington University Law School, where she received the President’s Volunteer Service Award for completing over 700 hours of pro bono legal service, working at legal aid organizations across the D.C. Metropolitan Area. Rithu graduated summa cum laude from Chapman University with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology, studying the impact of race and gender on socialization and identity formation. In her free time, Rithu loves to dig around local thrift stores, catch up on her favorite anime, and continue her search for the best croissant in the world.
