Isabella is a Staff Attorney with the Homeless Action Center. She joined the organization in 2025 after graduating from U.C. Davis Law School in 2024. Isabella’s past work experience includes working in death penalty defense at the California Appellate Project (San Francisco) and in criminal defense and re-entry work with Root & Rebound (Oakland). Believing in civil rights and recognizing the intersection of poverty and systems of oppression, Isabella came to HAC to fight against injustice and advocate for fairer access to public benefits that could change people’s lives. Isabella enjoys all things outdoors, including skiing, surfing, and rock climbing, and is also a classically trained ballerina and avid writer and reader of fiction and nonfiction.
