Galyn was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. After undergrad, she spent two years working as a client advocate at the public defender’s office in Wilmington, Delaware. She then attended UCLA School of Law, where she graduated with specializations in Public Interest Law and Policy and Critical Race Studies. Before joining HAC, she clerked for two years for an administrative law judge at the U.S. Department of Labor. In her free time, Galyn enjoys hiking, sewing, and contemporary dance.
