HR Generalist (Oakland)
HAC is seeking an experienced HR GENERALIST with outstanding people skills to manage our personnel and ensure that our human resources programs and initiatives are effective, efficient, equitable, and aligned with our overall mission.
The candidate for this position will join our HR Manager to add depth and fidelity to our HR functions. Duties for the HR team will include working closely with other HR Manager, addressing employee grievances and disputes, supporting employees’ professional development, enhancing job satisfaction, designing onboarding procedures, implementing HR strategies that support business objectives, forecasting staffing needs, mitigating risk, structuring benefit packages, maintaining employee records, designing accountability mechanisms, and overseeing overall employment needs.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess excellent communication skills, knowledge of labor regulations and HR practices, strategic thinking abilities, strong organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. The exceptional candidate will be able to improve HR processes, employee retention, contribute to our equity and inclusion efforts, enhance wellness, strengthen relations between staff and employers, manage job satisfaction, attract the best recruits, and promote the organization’s values.
